Migraine
Migraine is manifesting as moderate to severe, pulsating sensation, throbbing pain, and unilateral headache with recurring attacks. It can be aggravated by food, exercise, stress, and even routine physical activity. It is often accomplished by nausea, vomiting, and photosensitivity. The pain may last hours to days.
There is scientific evidence that acupuncture plays a crucial role in relieving migraine pain with very few adverse effects. when performed by a trained acupuncturist. Basic science studies have shown the lowering of blood pressure and improvements in brain function with this treatment. Recent evidence suggests at least six treatment sessions can be valuable for migraines.
